Once you have properly exported your clips from Premiere Pro and brought them to Annenberg Hall on a portable hard drive, the clips will need to be copied to the TV3 Playback Server using either of the iMacs located in TV3 Studio, or TV1 Control Room.
Plug your hard drive into the iMac. On the left sidebar of any Finder window, you should see a folder labeled “TSS_VIDEO_FILES”. This is the TV3 Playback Server.
Click and drag your clips from your portable hard drive, to your show folder on the TV3 Playback Server.
NOTE: If you do not see the TSS_VIDEO_FILES folder, please follow this guide to add it to the iMac’s Finder.
Now that your files have been copied into your show folder, they should now be visible in the “Clip List” on the TV3 Server’s user interface, and available for playback.
NOTE: If exported files do not conform to the correct encoding specifications, the server will fail to recognize them. Please ensure that you have exported your files properly, or contact the Technical Operations staff if you need further assistance.
